Trip to Florida

Hope this reaches everyone well! We recently took a short notice trip to Florida. Nick was headed to Tampa for work and he called around 11am on wednesday to tell me he was going to stop by and say bye before heading out. At that moment, we (Aly, Shelby and I) decided to head that way with him and take leave Thurs and Friday and spend the weekend at the Beach. Spur of the moment, but it was worth it. Nicks work in Florida took about 2 hours and then he was all ours :) We took Aly to the beach and found a nice park to play at. She liked the beach, but enjoyed chasing the birds more. We built a sand castle and buried daddy's feet in the sand. The night life was fun also. We walked around and watched the entertainers along the street. The funniest was when we saw this guy with a microphone and a stand with lights. He was making wierd alien noises in the microphone. He had a sign that read, "tip the alien". It was hilarious.....what people will do for money. Its not a place we want to live, but it was fun visiting for a few days. Shelby didnt get out much as the beach didnt allow dogs. She would have been swept up by a bird anyways.....those things were brutal. They would attack you if you had food. We arrived back to Georgia on Saturday and had a night to unpack, paint and get ready for work on Monday. Were painting our master bdroom and awaiting for Lowe's to install our new carpet. Well, sorry to cut this short....but Aly is wanting to play....gotta go. Love to All
