Hello family and friends - I hope this reaches everyone well. Aly is growing and changing so much every day. She has just gotten over being sick. She had pnemonia and a double ear infection. She started meds and is feeling much better. Then Nick got sick and is starting to recover. For the first time, I didnt catch it. Aly has begun to say her first word.... "Da Da"....it is absolutely adorable. She can get on all fours, but will scoot backwards vs forwards. She will hold onto things and try to pull herself up...but the furthest she can go is on her knees. We think she will go straight to walking vs crawling then walking. We will hold her hands as she stands up, but she cant do it on her own yet. She waves at everyone passing by. The daycare providers tell us daily how everyone that walks in the room gets a wave from Aly. Her two bottom teeth are in....nothing from the others just yet. The awesome thing was that we didnt even know when they were coming in....so hopefully its like that when the rest come in. At night we will play catch with Shelby and one of her toys......then Shelby will put her toy in front of Aly and as Aly grabs for it, Shelby will try to steal it back. They play tug of war with her toy.....its hilarious. We love the stage she is at right now....its like she understands us and is so much fun to play with. In a few months we will be down at Keesler AFB on the beach. We cant wait to show Aly the ocean for the first time. She loves the tub so we think she will enjoy the water. We love you all and cant wait to meet up with some of the fam at Keesler, it should be a blast.
Love The Pauls
